Phase One Asbestos – The Victims of Lung Cancer Related to Asbestos

Phase One Asbestos, which is the most commonly used form of this material, has been tested by the EPA in more than 40 studies over the last twenty years. The results of those studies have shown that the risk of developing cancer due to the ingestion of asbestos fibers is quite low, but the risk of developing cancer due to inhalation is quite high.

Phase One Asbestos – Asbestos Exposure Lung Cancer Survivor

This is another reason why the danger of breathing in asbestos fibers is considered very high. It has been shown that there is a significantly high chance of developing lung cancer due to the presence of the asbestos fibers in one’s lungs. Although it is not possible for the lungs to absorb the fibers of asbestos, it has been found that the airways are extremely susceptible to becoming damaged if there is enough of the asbestos present in the air.

There are a lot of people out there who do believe that there is a link between asbestos fibers and the development of cancer, but there is no scientific evidence to back this claim up. What the scientists and researchers are actually doing is testing the presence of asbestos in the blood of a wide variety of individuals.
